About Wax Seal Stamps
Sealing wax is a wax material of a seal which, after melting, hardens quickly (to paper, parchment, ribbons and wire, and other material) forming a bond that is difficult to separate without noticeable tampering. Wax is used to verify something such as a document is unopened, to verify the sender's identity, for example with a signet ring, and as decoration.
Since the advent of a postal system, the use of sealing wax has become more for ceremony than security. Modern times have required new styles of wax, allowing for mailing of the seal without damage or removal. These new waxes are flexible for mailing and are referred to as glue-gun sealing wax, faux sealing wax and flexible sealing wax.
If you want to place wax seals on the outer envelope and send them through by mail:
1. Ask for the hand cancelling and hand sorting service at your local post office. This will eliminate running the envelopes through the sorting machine which can damage the seals.
2. Use glue gun wax sticks. They are more pliable than traditional sealing wax.
It depends on how "custom" you want your wax seal to be. We provide two types of custom wax seal stamps:
1. Customize initial/names using our templates: the price starts at 19.99 USD. We have over 80 design temples for you to choose from, where you can customize your initial, name, and even date of the special day. The price starts from 19.99 USD.
2. Fully customize with your image: the price starts at 27.99 USD. Send us your picture such as company logo, family crest, coat of arms, and signature, our artist can help you convert the image into wax seal design and make a wax seal stamp out of it.
If you're planning to seal dozens of invitations, then using the electric melting pot or the glue gun is the quickest, cleanest and most efficient method. Both of them are easy-to-use and no flame required.
The electric melting pot is a combination of being traditional and modern. You can enjoy the fun of wax sealing and have the efficiency at the same time. It works with both wax sticks and wax beads.
The glue gun is more for efficient. It works only with the glue gun wax seal sticks.
We also recommend using multiple stamps of the same engraving. Thus you can continue seal with a second stamp while the first one cools down.
Our standard stamp head is round, coming in 4 size options: 25mm (1"), 30mm (1.18"), 35mm (1.38") and 40mm (1.57") in diameter.

We also provide 20mm round, 50mm round and unconventional shapes like opal, square, rectangle and heart. Contact us for their sizes and quotes.
